A Couple That Made Me Laugh
High Heels Backwards-- Honestly, that just sounds like it would hurt! A search on this term comes up with "Ginger: The Musical" (which I at first thought was a show about redheads, but turned out to be about Ginger Rogers) -- and that all made much more sense. The thought of shoving your feet into high heels backwards just sounded painful, but dancing backwards and in high heels sounds just a little bit less. All the same... it brings to mind how difficult we can make our lives. At least wear sneakers.

A Couple That Softened My Heart
Forgive me for forgiving you.-- Have you ever been in a relationship that had become defined by its very strife? You didn't like the person, and they didn't like you. Disliking each other had become the status quo. Punishing each other for past wrongs had become The Way of Things. But... what if you turned that upside down? What if you stepped out of it and decided to stop being angry, to stop seeing the bad in everything, to stop hating? What would happen to the status quo then? What would the new normal look like?
Have hope.-- I kind of needed that this week, Random Searching Person. So, thank you. There is hope and there is always hope. Things can always get better if we just hang on long enough. Even when it all seems dark and hard and, yes, hopeless... change can come. Light can shine in. Things can get better. So, yes. I will have hope... and surely the sun'll come out tomorrow.
