To the person who searched for:
Honey dripping off my body: What? What kind of blog do you think this is?
Can't control my heart without crying: Good!! That's good!! Don't be afraid of your tears. They mean you're alive, they mean you feel, they mean you haven't been so desensitized by this world that you have become feelingless and cold. Tears are good. Cry. Don't be afraid of crying. Sometimes crying is the only way our emotions can escape the jars we try to keep them tightly locked up in. I read a quote last week that said "Tears are the words our hearts can't say." Or something like that. Let your heart have its expression.
Keith Harkin pants too tight: Yes. Did you have a question?
Friendship manipulation: You aren't going to like hearing this, but there's no such thing. If they're manipulating you, they aren't your friend. Now you get to decide what you do with that. Let them keep on doing it? Walk away? Hold them at arm's length? But find a way... because what they do to you isn't right, and it isn't love, and it isn't friendship by any stretch of the imagination.
Almost 40 and I haven't done anything with my life: Well, first, I'm not sure I believe that. We buy the lie that "anything with my life" means it has to be something big and huge and gigantic, and it just doesn't. Sometimes "anything with my life" can just mean building friendships and being there for people. So first... I think you're wrong. HOWEVER. You're almost 40, you aren't dead. If you're unhappy with how much you've done with your life, start now! I know a guy who didn't get his big musical breakthrough until he was 39, and now he's got thousands of fans around the world. I know a girl who was... well, I don't know how old... but a few years shy of 40, I think... and she quit her job and wrote a book! And now she's written two books! And she's awesome! Don't let the big scary 40 number scare you. Do something now! :)
Backed out of the garage and bent door backwards: I love you guys. Really and truly. You make me feel so much better about myself.
Letting go of anger is easier said than done: I completely agree... It is SO hard to keep the anger at bay and to keep it from taking a hold in your heart. And even when you think you're doing a good job of it, sometimes it creeps back in and it so hard. But keep trying... Sometimes it takes a really long time and it takes a lot of work. But does the anger make you happy? When you can finally get rid of it, you free up spots in your heart where much better things can take up residence, and I think you'll be glad that you stuck with it.

I only have one search term used to find my blog in June..Miike Snow Estonians Killer! Which is quite worrying ;)
ReplyDeleteI only have one weird search so far this month: "May I have your attention please, (insert male body part). That is all." Obviously the body part was written out.
ReplyDeleteMaybe it was from the "honey dripping off my body" person who found your blog?
